About Dept.
The department was established in 1969. Education is dissemination of knowledge and equipping the students with appropriate skills and ability. The department has adequate and well qualified, competent faculty who are dedicated to the academic and overall development of the student community. The teaching highlights of the faculty of our department are Learner-centric, ICT enabled, research, Project based, continuous assessment and comprehensive evaluation. Our aim is to form young students of skill, commitment, ethics and empathy. We cultivate in students an uncompromising commitment towards enhancing the quality of life both at the organizational and societal level and also fostering passionate pursuit for academic and intellectual excellence. They have to take new challenges for contributing to the society as well as fulfilling their career dreams. The most important asset of any civic society is its skilled manpower.
Objectives
The Objectives of the Dept. are to develop students’ ability:
- To prepare students face all kinds of challenges in global level through effective teaching and learning process of the curricular and co-curricular aspects
- To motivate, mold and prepare the students for positions of leadership in business organizations
- To develop entrepreneurship and research view through innovative and healthy practices with commitment
- To provide platform to the students for searching their hidden talent and utilize it to face the challenges
- To achieve innovations in teaching-learning, research and extension activities
- To develop the sense of civic responsibility, social commitment, and moral accountability among the students for making nation building youth
- To impart value based ethical and quality education to the students for sensitizing them for the society..
